Student Teaching Classroom Placement                                       Spring 2011

Taught spring semester in a secondary classroom at Concord High School.  Classes included geometry and algebra II as well as principles of engineering, which I assisted with.

International Practicum in Education                                           Winter 2010

Lived in Noisy le Roi, France for a week working in the local middle school observing and teaching to later put together a research project comparing the two educational systems

Literacy Classroom Placement                                                            Fall 2010

Observed and taught lessons in a geometry class at Concord High School integrating literacy into the mathematics curriculum.

Maymester Classroom Placement                                                  Spring 2010

Designed and taught a three-week unit on area and volume in may at Albion High School after observing the class weekly throughout the semester.

Observed and assisted weekly and taught three lessons in an algebra II class at Albion High School.

Observed and assisted weekly and taught for introductory level French lessons in a seventh grade classroom at Mar-Lee School

Worked as a substitute teacher for my student teaching classroom when my mentor teacher was attending professional development and in my home school system after graduation.

Albion College Math Tutor                                                            2007-present

Helped students in all levels of college mathematics with homework, questions, and to prepare for tests.  Worked with students both with regular appointments and on a walk in basis.

Apprentice Costume Designer/Assistant/Stitcher   Summers 2006-present

Designed and constructed the middle school and high school musicals and reparatory productions and for the profession theater program, also worked backstage as wardrobe mistress during production.
