Since January of 2008, I have attended the Michigan Music Conference (MMC). During these conferences, music educators, innovators, and sales persons gather and exchange ideas of the best methods and practices for teaching music in the classroom. Here, I collect samples of new method books, recorders, sample CD’s, and more. I review this materials and implement them in my lessons. Even if I try a sample and find that it doesn’t work, I didn’t have to make a huge investment to find out the system wouldn’t work.
